Artiste Winery has been producing
Impressionist art inspired wines for nearly a decade. Each wine is blended
to taste, while respectfully paying homage to the great wines of Europe.
Now, having produced over fifty wines labeled with Impressionist art,
Artiste is branching out further into modern art with the production of
two Artiste Modern Wines™.
To begin bottling their first “Modern Wines” Artiste
Winery has collaborated with artists from Artamo Gallery
in Santa Barbara. The first releases are a 2008 Malvasia Bianca
and a 2007 Mourvedre, both sourced from exceptional Santa Barbara
County vineyards. These wines are labeled with art by two Santa Barbara
painters, Karin Aggeler and Jack N. Mohr.
Artiste Winery & Tasting Studio is centrally located in Los Olivos, the new heart of Santa Barbara Wine Country.
